A bodysuit is a one-piece leotard-like garment.
Though it's worn by both males and females of all age-groups, it looks
the cutest on little babies. Unlike the bodysuits for adults which is
also available in the skintight variety, bodysuits made for children are
loose and quite comfortable to wear. The baby bodysuit is also called a
creeper, diaper shirt, snapsuit or onesie. And these are different from
adult bodysuit because they have snaps at the crotch area.
All baby one-piece bodysuits are purposely made loose enough to
accommodate a diaper easily. Snaps in the crotch portion of the infant
bodysuit are also deliberately installed so that it's easy to change,
feed or play with the baby. No wonder then why most parents find the
one-piece baby body suit the least cumbersome baby clothing. Infant
bodysuits are practical and versatile. And they can be worn either alone
or under any outfit for an added layer of warmth.
Though a one-piece item of clothing for babies, baby bodysuits are
available in varied designs. They may or may not have sleeves in them.
The shirt could end up at the waist like a swimwear or extend up to mid
thighs of the baby or even reach till the ankles. Onesies are helpful to
both the wearer and caregiver because they hold the diaper in place.
Many parents make their infants wear onesie like a shirt as it stays
neatly tucked inside the waist of pants.
Sometimes the baby one piece bodysuit or onesie may even cover the
entire leg including the feet. But these are normally donned by very
young kids. Keeping the comfort and softness aspects in mind, the
preferred fabric for making baby bodysuit is mostly durable cotton or
even flannel. You can even choose to customize with adorable designs
that are equally "suitable" for either the little girl or boy.
You can also get baby bodysuits flaunt the name of the baby.
